A hurricane room, or otherwise known as a safe room or storm shelter, is an additional room that will provide good, safe shelter when a hurricane, tropical storm, or tornado is present or approaching, and can withstand the major wind forces and flying debris that these storms wreak. Our hurricane room design incorporates our Sure-BOARD® and possibly our Atlas-Wall Panel which are both great when building a load bearing wall. The Atlas-Wall Panel has been tested and received 'Miami-Dade Product Approval' and the 'State of Florida Product Approval' including for uses in Florida's 'High Velocity Hurricane Zones'. The Atlas-Wall Panel is designed to be installed as an exterior or interior structural, load-bearing wall.
